In XP the mouse wheel works perfect, however in Vista the vertical scrolling problem becomes really annoying by using certain applications like iTunes, Google Picasa, OpenOffice and others The problem disappear after putting the PC on Sleep mode.
The vertical scrolling works fine in the above applications but, the configuration of the wheel changes dramatically in Firefox or IE. The wheel becomes too sensitive and even scrolling 1 mm.
